This notice explains what information we collect through the Ashton Global Japan website (japan.ashtonglobal.com), why we collect it, who helps us process it, and the choices you have.

Who we are

What we collect

When you submit the institutional access request form, we collect:

• your name
• your work email address
• your firm
• your investor type
• your primary interest, if you choose one
• whether you want us to send you the Japan opportunity brief
• a record of your consent to this notice, with the date and time of your submission

Our form handler does not record your IP address or browser details in the lead record. Our hosting provider processes technical connection data, such as IP addresses, to deliver the website and protect it from abuse.

Manager applications are made through a separate form hosted by Typeform, which has its own privacy notice.

How we use it

• to respond to your request
• to send you the Japan opportunity brief, if you asked for it
• to keep a record of your request and our contact with you in our customer relationship management (CRM) system

We do not use your information for any other purpose without telling you first.

Who processes it for us

We use the following service providers, each of which processes personal information on our behalf:

• Vercel, which hosts the website and runs the form handler
• Make, which routes form submissions to our systems
• Pipedrive, our CRM, where we keep the record of your request
• Anthropic, which provides automated screening of submissions for spam
• Google Workspace, which we use for email
• Google Fonts, which serves the typefaces used on this website. When your browser loads them, Google receives your IP address.

International transfers

Ashton Global LLC is based in the United States, and your information is processed there. Some of our service providers may also process it in other countries. If you are in Japan, the European Union or European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or elsewhere, your information will be transferred outside your country. For these transfers we rely on our service providers' standard contractual safeguards. For visitors in Japan, we handle personal information in line with Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI), including its rules on providing personal information to third parties in foreign countries.

How long we keep it

We keep your lead record while our relationship with you is active. We delete it when you ask us to.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• give you access to the personal information we hold about you
• correct it
• delete it
• stop using it, by withdrawing your consent at any time

To make a request, email japan@ashtonglobal.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did with your information before you withdrew it. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

We do not sell your information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

This website does not set analytics or advertising cookies.

If we change this notice, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
